Why Ski Davos?

Davos is far from the average alpine ski resort, it is a bustling place known for its fresh mountain air, its consistently excellent snow cover and for being one of the most extensive ski areas in Switzerland. Davos was originally known as a health resort with its high altitude (1560m) and clean air making it a popular retreat for suffers of repertory diseases. Its appeal now lies more with its year round list of activities including its huge indoor and outdoor ice rinks, a sports centre, 2 sledge runs and 280 miles of picturesque walking and bike riding trails in the summer. On top of this the resort which is split into Davos-Dorf and Davos-Platz offers plenty of opportunity for fine dining, shopping and evening entertainment.
